A Yahoo Group is a great tool to build community around a specific topic. Once you are registered, you will receive announcements about local events, workshops, concerts, seminars that gravitate around sound healing. You will be able to choose to get individual emails, digests or to simply read the emails by going to the group when you want to see what's going on.

Yahoo members will be able to post messages and announcements directly, ask questions and offer solutions, offer a topic of discussion. However each posted email will be approved by the moderators as we want to continue to provide a service that is true to SHOW goals. We only want messages that are relevant to sound healing or use of sound for therapy and well being. As well as your comments, experiences and discoveries of course!

The first step is to create a Yahoo account by signing up with Yahoo and then joining the SHOW group. Once this is done, the Yahoo account can be set to send the mail to another account. But it is important to keep track of the yahoo user name and the password! You will need this information to change the settings of the account and how it handles groups, and to sign up or leave your groups.

If you already have a Yahoo account, click here
Then click on groups (left column on the main screen).
On the groups page, enter soundhealers in the box under the Join a Group heading and click on search. Soundhealers-wa will show up, click on it, and on the next page, click on the join this group.

If you do not have a Yahoo account, click here
Then click on mail just right of the Yahoo! logo.
Click on sign up now on the left of the next screen - be sure to pick the FREE option. Then follow the instructions to get signed up, and go to groups to join the soundhealers-wa group.
